PT SIMS Jaya Kaltim strives to ensure that all blasting activities are conducted under safe conditions and practices. The use of explosives supports coal mining activities and is essential; however, explosives can also be very dangerous if not managed properly.

All of our employees involved in blasting activities are skilled and experienced, possessing knowledge about the types of explosives, including the hazards they present.

In the blasting drilling process, PT SIMS Jaya Kaltim uses adequate equipment and always checks safety before using this equipment.

The safe distance radius we apply during blasting operations is in accordance with KEPMEN ESDM 1827 of 2018, which specifies a minimum of 300 meters for units or equipment and 500 meters for people.
