Company Commitment

Management and employees (on behalf of the company) are committed to carrying out the Coal Mining Services business by providing quality service to meet the requirements of customers and/or stakeholders dynamically, actively and continuously improving the management system by implementing risk management and compliance management, promoting environmental protection, occupational health and safety, and mining operational safety, implementing energy savings, and enhancing productivity.

Actions to Ensure Achievement of Objectives:

1. Maintain the quality and quantity of product delivery and services in accordance with agreements with customers;
2. Comply with government regulations and laws in the fields of mining, occupational health and safety, the environment, and energy, as well as other related regulations;
3. Enhance a risk-aware culture in daily work and make health and safety the responsibility of every employee;
4. Meet employee competency requirements and enhance them in line with the development of the company's business processes;
5. Commit to reducing incident rates to the lowest possible level (zero), including hazardous occurrences;
6. Create and actively maintain safe working conditions and make the use of personal protective equipment a habit among workers;
7. Ensure the feasibility inspection, maintenance of facilities, installations, and mining equipment are managed effectively and in accordance with applicable standards;
8. Ensure employee health and the management of work-related diseases are effectively managed;
9. Actively prevent the spread of COVID-19, HIV/AIDS, and the abuse of psychotropic drugs;
10. Create environmentally friendly working conditions and reduce environmental pollution impacts;
11. Maintain the environment and ensure efficient energy use sustainably;
12. Implement work programs and continuously improve performance in quality, health and safety, the environment, and energy synergistically, considering technological and financial factors;
13. Reduce the index of fossil fuel consumption (non-renewable energy);
14. Involve all employees in achieving minimum breakdowns, reducing crises and losses, and maximizing productivity;
15. Continuously enhance operational capacity and equipment with efficient processes to achieve competitive results and optimize profits for the company and employee welfare;

Every leader and employee of PT. SIMS JAYA KALTIM, including the labor union, must participate in the consultation and participation process and be responsible for disseminating this policy to relevant parties. This policy is periodically reviewed and serves as a guideline for establishing annual objectives for the Integrated Management System.
